Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-8:00 PM
Compensation: $30.26–$44.47 DOE and licensure

What You'll Do as a Therapist

• Provide individual and group therapy for adult men participating in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and General Outpatient (GOP) substance use treatment programs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that support each client's recovery goals and overall well-being.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and relapse prevention strategies.
• Assess client progress and adjust treatment plans as recovery needs evolve.
• Collaborate with case managers, medical providers, probation officers, drug court personnel, and other community partners to coordinate care.
• Support clients with co-occurring mental health concerns through integrated treatment approaches.
• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and process groups that promote recovery, accountability, and life skills development.
• Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation and maintain compliance with agency, state, and Medicaid standards.
• Build trusting therapeutic relationships that encourage personal growth, resilience, and long-term recovery.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
• Help create a welcoming, respectful, and recovery-focused environment where clients feel supported every step of their journey.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
• Experience working with substance use disorders preferred.
• Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
• Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
• Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
• Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a stipend.
