The work involves developing and enhancing trading ticket functionality, implementing negotiation workflows with multiple dealers to achieve optimal trading outcomes, and building robust post-trade processing capabilities for the supported products.The team collaborates extensively with several core engineering and business groups across the organization, including the Trading Systems Team, Dealer Software Team, FIX Connectivity Team, and the Front-End Development Team responsible for building trading ticket interfaces using JavaScript. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enhance electronic trading platform capabilities for new asset classes, contributing to the expansion of the firm's trading product offeringsCollaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to design and implement enhancements that address customer feedback and improve the overall user experienceBuild and optimize trading workflows that increase operational efficiency and streamline the trading process for end usersAnalyze and resolve ambiguities in trade details and on-screen data presentation to ensure accuracy, clarity, and usability across trading interfacesImprove application and system performance through ongoing optimization, troubleshooting, and scalability enhancementsPartner with the Quality Assurance team to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve identified issues, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable software solutionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field5+ years of professional C++ development experience (C++14/20) in Windows/Linux environmentsStrong proficiency in object-oriented design, STL, multithreading, and concurrency (synchronization, parallelism)Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, latency, throughput) and network programmingProven experience building complex, distributed, high-throughput, low-latency, and resilient systemsStrong debugging skills and ability to quickly understand and work within large, complex codebasesDemonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate ramp-up on large codebases, improve system understanding, and enhance debugging and development productivityStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teamsSelf-driven, proactive, and capable of independently ramping up in complex environmentsAdditional InformationTradeweb is committed to providing valuable and competitive benefits.
