Material Flow Engineer

A client of Insight Global is seeking a contract Material Flow Engineer to support the rapid expansion of its advanced manufacturing operations. This individual will help develop, specify, and implement material-flow, warehouse, and production-line solutions across a growing number of product programs. The team has expanded quickly from supporting approximately two programs to six committed programs, creating an immediate need for additional engineering capacity. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating with limited direction, adapting to changing plans, and turning loosely defined operational problems into practical, floor-ready solutions. This engineer will partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and external vendors to improve material movement, warehouse efficiency, line layouts, production readiness, throughput, and asset utilization. The broader position is responsible for optimizing warehousing and material-flow operations while supporting demanding production and deployment timelines.
