CookGreat Western Dining Service at our Northern Oklahoma College - Enid location is looking for a skilled Cashier/Cook.Full TimeResponsibilities:Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders at the cashier stationHandle cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately and efficientlyPrepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standardsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areasEnsure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently metManage inventory levels and restock supplies as neededCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operationsAddress customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionallySkills and Qualifications:Proven experience as cookKnowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipmentAbility to follow all sanitation proceduresAbility to work in a team environmentVery good communication skillsWe are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified individuals.RequirementsPhysical requirements of the job:Continuous standing/walking and other means of mobility up to 8 hours a dayAbility to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull and frequently lift/move up to 30 pounds
