Key Responsibilities
- Create a positive, faith-filled environment that supports student growth and well-being
- Plan and deliver engaging, active, and developmentally appropriate physical education lessons
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive conflict resolution
- Teach skills related to physical fitness, movement, and health using a variety of instructional strategies
- Ensure maximum participation and differentiate instruction so all students experience success
- Maintain effective classroom management and a safe learning environment
- Organize and prepare equipment and instructional materials
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support growth
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate professionally with staff, students, and families
- Supervise students and ensure their safety at all times
- Participate in professional development and school initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the principal
- Passion for working with children and promoting health and wellness
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to create an inclusive and engaging environment for all learners
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; positive and supportive team member
- Teaching certification preferred, but not required
