• Shift: Clinic Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Hospital rotation every 5-6 weeks
• Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens/Contract
• License/Certs: Active supervising license in Louisiana, Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine-Cardiology
• Experience: At least 3 years in cardiology preferred

What You’ll Do

• Provide inpatient care and perform hospital rounds
• Conduct outpatient clinic visits Monday through Friday
• Manage follow-up care and diagnostic procedures
• Read and interpret diagnostic studies during inpatient stays and clinic visits
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Communicate effectively with referring providers and patients
• Attend to consult requests and offer expert clinical oversight

What You Need

• Valid, active, unrestricted medical license in Louisiana
• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine with Cardiology subspecialty
• Minimum of 3 years cardiology experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and resident education
