Role Description The Provider Relations Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Orlando, FL, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers, supporting network development initiatives, and ensuring providers understand contractual terms, policies, and operational procedures. Day-to-day tasks include responding to provider inquiries, resolving issues related to claims, credentialing, and network participation, and coordinating with internal teams to improve provider experience and performance. The Provider Relations Specialist will assist in onboarding new providers, support credentialing processes, and help maintain accurate provider data in relevant systems. The role also involves communicating updates, conducting outreach and education, and contributing to projects that enhance provider satisfaction and network quality. Qualifications Strong Provider Relations and Customer Service skills to support and engage network providers effectively. Experience in Network Development and Credentialing processes to assist with provider onboarding and network expansion. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey information clearly and professionally to internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of managed care, Medicare, Medicaid, and/or Dual-Eligible programs is highly beneficial. Ability to analyze provider issues, interpret contracts or policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve problems. Proficiency with MS Office and healthcare-related systems or provider portals. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
