Job Description

We are seeking a personable and energetic Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! We are a growing, independently owned Podiatry office. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to ensure efficient operation of the medical office.

Responsibilities:

Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff, including assisting during minor in-office medical procedures
Escort patients to exam rooms to prepare for the doctor's visit
Document basic medical history
Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Qualifications:

Previous experience in healthcare or other related fields
Familiarity with medical procedures standards
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Social perceptiveness and service orientation
Proficiency in patient management software and electronic health records
