Location (Primary Location for JobResponsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 SouthMarietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060. Department Information Department Specific Tasks and Responsibilities Plans and runs programs, events, and services that engage andsupport parents and families on both the Kennesaw and Mariettacampuses, with special attention to building strong ties withfamilies connected to the Marietta campus. Manages the Owl Family Hub to enhance communication withparents, families, and student supporters by sharing personalizednewsletters, campus updates, student progress, and financialinformation. Gives presentations to promote Parent & Family programs andinitiatives. Handles daily administrative tasks, including processingpurchase requests and reimbursements, as needed. Manages the department¿s Pcard, cash, and credit card inaccordance with university policies Department Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proven ability to contribute to the development and execution ofshort- and long-term departmental goals Ability to independently identify problems and implement effectivesolutions Previous experience developing engaging web and social mediacontent Proficient in graphic design tools such as Adobe Express, AdobeCreative Suite, and Canva to create engaging and visually appealingmaterials Job Summary Develops, organizes and implements comprehensive programs in theassigned college, department and/or unit. Responsible forpreparing and organizing programs and activities. Promotesprograms internal and external to the university and evaluateseffectiveness. Ensures programs comply with university andUSG policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Develops, prepares, coordinates and implements assignedprograms Manages and facilitates department communications includingprogram marketing, website creation, mobile applications and socialmedia Serves as liaison and communicates with academic divisions,colleges and departments May assist in developing, monitoring and managing budgetprocesses Manages event planning, marketing and logistics Interprets, evaluates, develops and implements policies andprocedures Creates, administers, and analyzes assessment programs Facilitates program components, post-program evaluation andoperational reporting Assists with developing new programming Prepares operational reports and analysis to informcenter-level reporting and decision-making May supervise assigned staff and/or student assistants Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of highereducation in related field Required Experience Three (3) years of related work experience Preferred Educational Qualifications An advanced degree from an accredited institution of highereducation in a related field Preferred Experience Previous experience managing large-scale programs and events Proposed Salary The budgeted salary is $58,000 per year.
