Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide one-on-one support for an individual requiring personal assistance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Monitor the individual’s health status by observing vital signs, behavior, and overall condition, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional.
- Monitor the G-tube to ensure security.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with the individual’s care plan and applicable regulations.
- Assist with all transfers, including transfers to and from a wheelchair, vehicle, bed, and chairs. A Hoyer lift may be used when appropriate and in accordance with the individual’s care plan and proper training.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment through routine housekeeping and organization of the individual’s personal living space.
- Communicate effectively with the individual, family members, supervisors, and members of the care team regarding the individual’s needs and well-being.
Qualifications
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
- CNA License is a plus
Work hours are:
- Monday: 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Tuesday: 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Wednesday: 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Thursday: 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Friday: 3:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
