Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Practice Info * Comprehensive range of services as part of Tennova Healthcare * 24/7 emergency department, intensive care unit, advanced surgical suites, and a dedicated Heart Hospital * Adjacent Tennova Surgery Center West includes four fully equipped operating rooms and two advanced endoscopy suites * Collaborative practice with a strong cardiovascular program Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthesia care * Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and assessments * Obtain and/or verify informed patient consent * Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and expected outcomes with patients and families * Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia * Monitor patients' physiological status throughout procedures * Manage hemodynamic and clinical interventions as necessary * Collaborate closely with surgeons, proceduralists, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes Compensation * $600,000 Annual Base Salary * $125,000 Sign-On Bonus * Additional incentive opportunities available * 2% Annual Profit Share Contribution through NAPA's Retirement Program Benefits * 401(k) with 4% Company Match * Generous paid time off * Health, dental, vision, life, disability, and AD&D insurance * Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) * Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage * CME allowance and professional development support * Leadership and career advancement opportunities * Training assistance and loan repayment programs where applicable Requirements * M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school * Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency * Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology * Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Tennessee medical license * Demonstrated expertise in the perioperative management of complex cardiac surgical patients * ECFMG certification (if applicable)
