It involves evaluating programs, providing clinical supervision, and delivering direct counseling services. As a Psychological Services Specialist, DHS, you will perform the following duties:Program Evaluation: Assess treatment programming in an assigned cottage and address any issues to maintain best practice standardsStaff Collaboration: Work with employees and consultants to develop treatment programsClinical Supervision: Lead conferences with counseling staff to support their development and ensure quality resident careService Coordination: Recommend specialized programming and help create individualized treatment plansDirect Counseling: Attend hearings, complete assessments, and provide individual, family, and group therapyClinical Reporting: Prepare written evaluations using file reviews, interviews, and program staff inputInterested in learning more? You will have Sunday and Monday off. Shifts will include:7:00 AM to 3:00 PM9:00 AM to 5:00 PM10:00 AM to 6:00 PM12:00 PM to 8:00 PMTelework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Free parkingSalary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $69,086.00 (before taxes).You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
