Technical Applications Specialist (East Region)

Abbott seeks a Technical Applications Specialist to provide on-site and remote support for diagnostic instruments across the East Region. The role involves complex instrument integration, customer training, troubleshooting, and documentation for hospital and laboratory clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site integration, assay training, and troubleshooting support for complex diagnostic instruments
• Conduct entrance and exit interviews with customers to assess needs and manage expectations throughout integration
• Document complaints and resolutions in CAPA system; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Deliver technical support remotely and on-site for hardware, software, and reagent issues affecting instrument performance
• Act as subject matter expert for internal teams and provide feedback on product performance and customer usability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or related health science field
• Two years of experience in clinical laboratory environment, technical call center, or Abbott Diagnostics products
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to travel 90% or more
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Medical Technology with four years clinical laboratory experience in Chemistry or Immunoassay

Compensation: $61,300.00 – $122,700.00 base
