Our team values honesty, craftsmanship, and doing the job right the first time.What you'll do:Perform advanced steering and suspension inspections and repairsDiagnose and repair advanced brake and braking system issuesPerform advanced HVAC diagnostics and repairDiagnose and repair basic electrical systemsComplete digital vehicle inspections (DVI) to accurately identify vehicle needsPerform scheduled maintenance services and flush servicesPerform tire service, rotations, repairs, and TPMS serviceMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentWork collaboratively with service advisors and team members to ensure accurate repairs and excellent customer serviceMaintaining a minimum of 75% labor productivity when comparing attendance hours to invoiced hoursWhat we offer:Modern diagnostic tools and equipmentSupportive team environmentCareer advancement opportunitiesStable workflow and professional shop environmentAs a GreatWater garage, we believe in developing technicians and supporting career advancement.Training & growth opportunities:We invest in technicians who want to continue developing their expertise, providing clear paths for growth and advancement.Technicians can continue building their skills and progressing toward an A Level Technician or higher-level roles by:Obtaining ASE A1 Engine RepairObtaining ASE A2 Automatic Transmission / TransaxlesObtaining ASE A3 Manual Drive Train and AxlesObtaining ASE A8 Engine PerformanceRequirements:What we're looking for:Experienced B-Level automotive technician3 or more years automotive technician experience or a combination of experience and training to be an automotive technician.Military experience welcomed!Possess required state and local certifications to be able to legally perform the work, including a current and valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)Technician (B) should have the below ASE certifications:ASE A4 Suspension and SteeringASE A5 Brakes certificationASE A6 Electrical Systems certificationASE A7 Heating and Air Conditioning certificationStrong diagnostic ability and attention to detailExperience performing advanced brake, suspension, and HVAC repairsAbility to complete thorough digital vehicle inspectionsPositive attitude and strong team mindsetPride in delivering quality workmanship and honest serviceWillingness to earn ASE certifications and work towards being an A Level Technician preferredWork environment & physical requirements:Physical demands:Must be able to get into and out of various vehicles without assistance.Must be able to drive a motor vehicle with passengers.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs without assistance.Ability to view a monitor, and use touch screens, mice, and keyboards.Ability to climb up/down and over/under work platforms and lifts to access vehicles for repairAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to perform major and fine motor skill movements using body to perform the necessary actions to complete a repair, service, vehicle inspection, or shop cleaning activity.Ability to reach overhead, push, pull, bend over/down, stoop, and other major body movements frequentlyThis job operates in an environment with extensive exposure to an automotive repair shop environment. The job will have exposure to a moderate noise level, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust.
