Location : Morrison Healthcare at UChicago Medicine Advent Health Bolingbrook Setting : Acute Care Schedule : 2-3 days per week Requirement : Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or CDR exam eligible Position Details : We are seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to join our bariatric program. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and support patients across the continuum of bariatric care. You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care. What You’ll Do Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes. Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community. Apply latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care. Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence. Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals. Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
