Your day to day as a Home Health AidE

As a Home Health Aide or CNA at Guardian Angel Senior Services, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for our seniors. Your responsibilities will include providing supervision and hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, and other essential hygiene tasks to ensure our clients feel comfortable and cared for. You will also promote mobility by encouraging clients to adhere to their prescribed exercise programs, including range of motion exercises and walking. Your role will involve carefully assisting in transferring clients from bed to chair, turning and repositioning them as per their care plans, and addressing pressure point care.

Additionally, you'll prepare meals that meet specific dietary needs, remind clients about their medications, and provide continence care. Housekeeping responsibilities will ensure a clean and safe environment, encompassing tasks such as laundry, trash removal, and grocery shopping for those who can drive. 

Are you a good fit for Home Health Aid

• HHA or CNA Certification required. If not certified or has certification caregivers will be provided free trainings & certifications.

To excel as a Home Health Aide with Guardian Angel Senior Services, certain skills and certifications are essential. A valid HHA or CNA certification is mandatory, ensuring you possess the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver top-quality care. A current HHA or CNA certification is required. For those who are not yet certified, don’t worry—free training and certification programs are available to help you get started & expand the skills. Success in this role also requires excellent communication skills, as you'll be interacting with clients and their families regularly. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you'll be interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regularly.
