Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a large small animal hospital in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join the practice on a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides care for cats and dogs, with an opportunity for a veterinarian with exotics experience.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will carry out general practice responsibilities, including wellness examinations, preventative care, vaccinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and managing ongoing medical conditions. Clinical duties also include interpreting diagnostic results, providing dental care and performing soft tissue surgery. The role involves discussing treatment options with owners, advising on their pets' health and maintaining accurate medical records.

The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling and rotating Saturdays.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiology, dental radiology, ultrasound, electronic medical record systems, cold and therapeutic lasers, and cryosurgery capabilities. Services include advanced dental care, soft tissue surgery, cold laser therapy and alternative medicine, including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and herbal medicine. Hospital opening hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am-7:30pm; Friday, 8:00am-3:00pm; and Saturday, 8:00am-2:00pm. The hospital is closed on Sundays.

Team
The team consists of nine DVMs and a large team of skilled support staff, including technicians. The hospital offers a highly collaborative environment, with staff trained in veterinary procedures and medications to support high standards of patient care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
