Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year accepted License: State or Compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with Epic charting system Ability to interpret dysrhythmias Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE Experience in management of dysrhythmias Skills in Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing Experience with non-invasive airway management Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:6. Floating to different areas of the unit may be required. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates should have experience with Epic charting. The nurse will be expected to interpret dysrhythmias effectively. Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE is essential. Management of dysrhythmias in a telemetry setting is necessary. Experience with peripheral line care and management is required. This position involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities may include respiratory services, phlebotomy, and social services support. Flexibility for weekend shifts is required. Preference is given to those with telemetry experience.
