Construction Controller

:

Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies- Manage the month-end close process and prepare financial statements- Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies- Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals

Experience:- Construction accounting experience required

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- CPA designation preferred- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role- Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and debits/credits- Proficient in general ledger reconciliation and general ledger accounting- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)- Experience with Sage or other accounting software systems- Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
