This position requires extensive phlebotomy expertise, strong specimen management skills, and the ability to work independently in diverse clinical and home-care environments. Service locations may include skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, rehabilitation centers, behavioral health facilities, and private residences for homebound patients. As a mobile role, regular travel throughout the assigned service area is required to meet patient and operational needs. The Mobile Phlebotomist serves as a representative of the laboratory and is expected to maintain professional and collaborative relationships with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and facility personnel while delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.Completion of an approved phlebotomy training program with one-time phlebotomy certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC or equivalent) required within 2 years from date of hire.Minimum of 2 to 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skillsAbility to train, mentor, and provide guidance to teammates and community partnersCommitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and regulatory complianceStrong organizational skills and attention to detail in specimen collection and handlingAbility to adapt to changing environments and provide high-quality service across multiple care settingsReliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.Experience working independently in outreach, home care or mobile phlebotomy services preferred.Knowledge of laboratory information systems and electronic order management preferred.Customer service experience in healthcare settings preferred.Certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC or equivalent) is required within two years from date of hire.A valid drivers license and reliable personal transportation are required, as regular travel throughout the assigned service area is an essential function of this position.Candidates must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and meet organizational requirements for driving as part of their job responsibilities.Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hiredPay RangeUSD $22.78 - USD $29.70 /Hr.Rotation Schedule RequirementRotate Every 4th Sunday/ Rotate one On-Call on Weekend/ A Major Holiday, a Minor Holiday, On-Call for one Holiday
