Senior Business Development Associate

To support the growth of the Business Development team in the M&A group, the full-time Senior Business Development Associate will identify and engage with software company owners and CEOs to source acquisition opportunities while managing relationships and leveraging Salesforce CRM in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Identify and analyze markets for potential platform acquisitions, breaking through barriers to source new opportunities Manage and track target accounts using Salesforce CRM, ensuring accountability and progress toward business development goals Set and meet monthly and quarterly business development targets, qualifying opportunities for the M&A team efficiently Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales within a software company or client-facing M&A/finance role Proven track record of sourcing at least one closed transaction in a business development role Basic understanding of financial terms and metrics such as revenue and churn Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with executives and decision-makers MBA or CFA is considered an asset; prior experience in Healthcare or Industrial sectors is a plus
