Your Role: As a Licensed Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering respiratory care to patients with both chronic and acute respiratory conditions. Your responsibilities will include administering respiratory therapies, conducting diagnostic tests, managing ventilators, and working closely with physicians to develop individualized treatment plans. Additionally, you will educate patients and their families on proper respiratory health management to help improve their long-term lung function.
Qualifications: To be considered for this position, candidates should have a degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program and hold current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Michigan. Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the NBRC is required. While previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred, we welcome new graduates with a passion for patient care. Strong communication skills and a dedication to delivering exceptional care are key to success in this role.
