As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Florissant, MO , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 10:30 AM – 04:30 PM Fri: 10:30 PM – 04:30 AM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities throughout the retail location. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while documenting relevant activity according to site guidelines. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe customer and associate activity, and/or report suspicious behavior, disturbances, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Support loss prevention awareness efforts by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with crowd and line management, and/or helping with closing procedures and after‑hours patrol activity. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
