Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• ARDMS Registered or ARRT(S)
• Experience assisting with biopsies
• Experience performing breast imaging
• Experience with general, vascular, small parts, and 1st trimester OB ultrasound

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 4 shifts of 10 hours
• Shift Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
• Call rotation required
• Provides services for inpatient and outpatient care

Location Highlights

Glenwood Springs offers access to mountain recreation and well-known destination amenities in western Colorado. Glenwood Hot Springs Pool and Iron Mountain Hot Springs are both located in town, and Hanging Lake is about 15 minutes away by car with permit-based hiking access. Sunlight Mountain Resort is roughly 12 miles from downtown for winter skiing, and Glenwood Canyon provides rafting, biking, and Colorado River views close to the city center. Amtrak service stops in Glenwood Springs and Interstate 70 runs through town, which supports travel to Aspen in about an hour and to Eagle County Regional Airport in about 30 miles.
