Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surge Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Med Surge experience Cardiology experience preferred Description: We are seeking a registered nurse for the Med Surge specialty. This position involves working night shifts. The nurse will be required to float to other units within a certain radius. The unit has a bed capacity of 30, with patient ratios of 1:6. Standard acute care equipment is used on the unit. Electronic medical records are managed through a specific system. The type of patients on the unit includes pre and post-heart catheterization, general cardiology, and other medical-surgical patients. Ideal candidates will be flexible, open to correction, and maintain a friendly demeanor with staff and patients. The dress code includes navy scrubs. A strong commitment to quality and compassionate patient care is essential.
