Support St. Helens, OR, US 23 days ago Requisition ID: 1870 Salary Range: $28.13 To $36.37 Hourly Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities. The Adult Outpatient Department takes great pride in building strong relationships amongst each other as co-workers and friends. Members of our CCMH team have a daily opportunity to make a positive impact. Shift: Individual schedules can be determined with supervisor and within business needs/hours. In general, our agency provides services Mon‑Fri from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Salary Range: $28.13 to $36.37 (hourly). There are 15 steps on our salary scale. We use a bona fide factor system to determine starting wage (years of experience, education, credentials, and specialty skills that relate to the job requirements). (Full‑time employees can earn 22 days of vacation, 9 days of sick time by the end of the first year). Accrual increases with length of service. Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered. Note: All QMHA positions in the state of Oregon will need to be filled by candidates who are officially QMHA certified or registered with MHACBO. For details, go directly to MHACBO ( ). Summary: The Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating/supporting behavioral health care within CCMH and the referrals to clinically indicated services and supports outside of the agency. Essential duties may vary per location/department/position. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: Experience working with underserved, transient populations; experience working with consumers who have co‑occurring mental health substance abuse and physical health issues preferred. Personal experience assisting self or family member in recovery from a behavioral health condition helpful. Be able to collaborate effectively in a team setting, maintain effective and professional relationships with consumers and members of the Care Team; strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to effectively engage consumers in a therapeutic relationship when appropriate; and able to navigate the pace of a community behavioral health care setting. Problem solving skills, communication with other professionals, time management, note taking, and ability to remain calm in high stress situations a must. Mental Health case management skills preferred. Must have reliable transportation.
