Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Wilmington, NC

Excellent opportunity for an anesthesiologist to join our group practice in Wilmington, NC, serving a 678-bed tertiary care center. Our practice is based out of the New Hanover Regional Medical Center, a 678-bed level II trauma center, which serves as a tertiary care center for seven counties in southeastern coastal North Carolina. We also provide anesthesia services to multiple other locations across the Cape Fear region, including Caper Fear (Orthopedic) Hospital, Pender Memorial Hospital, Dosher Hospital (Southport), Atlantic SurgiCenter, as well as various office-based settings.

Responsibilities: Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department. Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures. Pre-anesthesia assessment, Obtain and/or verify patient consent, Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient, Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, Performance of clinical intervention as needed.

Near 100% CRNA Supervision

Requirements: M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine ECFMG and FLEX Completion of approved residency in anesthesia Currently licensed as a physician
