Accounting AssistantCFS is paired with a real estate property management firm in Boston, MA looking to add an Accounting Assistant to their team.About the Company Seeking an Accounting Assistant:Founded over thirty years ago, this company helps with all parts of the commercial real estate business from construction, to property management, to property marketingThe growth they are experiencing is in line with current projections for the Boston area; this is a stably growing entityThe role has a mix of accounts receivable and accounts payable activities and can expand as this person growsHybrid working environmentResponsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:Process cash applications for assigned propertiesReconcile payments to tenant portfoliosMaintain deposit trackingCommunicate with property accounting team and tenantsSupport accounts payable check runsOther ad hoc projects as necessaryQualifications for the Accounting Assistant:3-5 years' experience in accounts receivable cash applications functionsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or experience equivalent (+4 years)Experience in property management or real estate is a plusSalary range: $55,000 – 63,000
