Food Service Director
Palmyra, PA
Join Kadima be part of a team that is committed to Moving Forward. Changing Lives. As a Food Service Director, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care and services are provided to our residents, while fostering a positive and supportive environment for our staff.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the food service department, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
Manage and supervise a team of food service staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure excellent service and quality
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, as well as any relevant laws and regulations
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of food and supplies
Collaborate with the nursing and activities teams to plan and implement special events and activities, such as holiday celebrations and themed parties
Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor to ensure efficient operations and maintain a positive bottom line
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and continuous improvement
