Area Medical Director Value-Based Care | Florida (Hybrid)
Jacksonville | Daytona Beach | Space Coast Making over $380k

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine physician to serve as an Area Medical Director supporting a network of affiliated physician practices across Florida.

This unique hybrid leadership role allows you to continue practicing clinically 1-2 days per week while leading value-based care initiatives, physician engagement, quality improvement, and population health strategies across an established IPA network.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $310,000 - $368,500
Annual Performance Bonus

Position Highlights
Hybrid Work Schedule (Home + Field-Based Leadership)
Maintain Clinical Practice 1-2 Days/Week
Lead Quality, Population Health & Risk Adjustment Initiatives
Partner with Operations, Analytics, Care Management & Finance Teams
Drive Performance Across Value-Based Care Programs
Executive-Level Leadership Opportunity

Qualifications

MD or DO
Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
Active Florida License (or ability to obtain)
5+ years of outpatient primary care experience
Experience in Value-Based Care and senior-focused populations
3+ years of physician leadership experience

Preferred Experience

IPA, ACO, Medicare Advantage, or Population Health leadership
HEDIS, Stars, Risk Adjustment, and Quality Programs
Physician coaching and provider engagement
Shared Savings and Value-Based Reimbursement Models

Physicians must reside in Jacksonville, Daytona Beach, or Florida's Space Coast region .
