Job Description
Title: CNA - Long Term Care

Schedule:
- Must be available for full-shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday.
- Part Time Nights, + Every Other Weekend (EOW)

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 14 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/RQI)
- One (1) year of previous Long-Term Care (LTC) experience

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in the plan of care, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents by adhering to safety protocols and responding promptly to call lights and alarms.
- Ensure residents' nutritional needs are met in accordance with their care plan, including assisting with meal delivery and feeding as needed.
- Support residents with rehabilitative needs by participating in therapeutic activities such as range of motion exercises and ambulation.
- Report changes in residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial status to the supervising nurse promptly.

Compliance / Notes:
- Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is reasonably anticipated.
