As a Security Officer Unarmed Interior Patrol in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic educational location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities across an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with campus contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, common spaces, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, assist with directions and general inquiries, and document incidents, observations, and/or policy-related concerns according to site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
