Are you looking for your new career? NewGen Administrative Services is now hiring a Senior Accountant to be the newest member of our awesome team! If Yes, How You Will Contribute To The Team As an Accountant you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements for assigned facilities. You will prepare monthly journal entries and other duties as assigned. Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements for the assigned facilities Prepare monthly journal entries and adjusting journal entries Complete Balance Sheet and P&L account reconciliations with supporting documentation Maintain monthly supporting schedules (depreciation, amortization, roll-forward schedules etc.) Ensure monthly close is completed accurately and timely and in accordance with pre-established deadlines Review financial statement trends and propose adjustments Work closely with the Accounts Payable team for invoice, payment, and accrual accuracy. Assist in the preparation of various monthly reports for the management team Assist with gathering supporting documents related to audit, review and tax engagements Resolve and communicate account discrepancies Perform other duties as assigned by management. Must Have Bachelor's degree in accounting 2-3 years of experience as senior accountant. 4-6 years of experience as G/L accountant Competencies (skills, Knowledge, Abilities) Proficiency at the basic level of accounting and knowledgeable of the intermediate concepts of accounting Computer Literacy in a Windows environment with emphasis in Word, Advanced Excel and Outlook Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Detail oriented and organized; Project oriented and ability to plan and manage workload on their own; Able to work independently; Team player with a willingness to help with anything to get the job done Managed Care Experience Nice To Have Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment Great Plains ERP Who We Are NewGen Administrative Services believes in cultivating a family culture and thrives on person-centered care.
