What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients with various cancer diagnoses, including endometrial, bladder, renal, ovarian, and cervical cancers
- Administer chemotherapy treatments and monitor for adverse reactions
- Assist in clinical trials, data collection, and documentation
- Perform specialized procedures such as brachytherapy and neobladder care
- Implement infection prevention protocols and promote patient safety
- Monitor telemetry readings and interpret dysrhythmias; respond appropriately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize rapid response teams
- Manage feeding tubes, IV therapy, blood products, and central lines
- Document assessments and interventions using EPIC electronic charting system
What You Need
Required:- Active RN license in Ohio or eligible for licensure
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg/Tele nursing experience
- BLS certification
- Ability to interpret telemetry and administer chemotherapy
- Oncology-specific certifications (e.g., ONS Chemotherapy Certification)
- Experience with specialized oncology procedures and clinical trials
