Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend Rotation | 72 Expected Hours Biweekly (excluding any on-call time)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, with the expectation to float between ICU and IMCU as needed
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and patient management
• Care for post-operative CT surgery patients, including management of cardiac assist devices
• Participate in weekend rotation (every other weekend) and fulfill holiday requirements if working through winter holidays (2 holidays required)
• Adhere to facility orientation schedule upon start

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• BLS certification through AHA required
• ACLS certification through AHA required
• EPIC proficiency required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar ICU or critical care setting
• Experience with CT surgery patients and cardiac assist devices such as IABP and Impella required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating between ICU and step-down or IMCU environments
• Familiarity with complex cardiac and surgical patient populations
