Job Description
Title: Cardiac Stepdown RN

Schedule:
- Shift: Nights, 7 PM - 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend and holiday

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 14 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg
- Minimum of 1 year of travel experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Previous experience in cardiac care, critical care, or telemetry nursing is required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients' cardiovascular status using telemetry or other monitoring devices.
- Assess for signs of cardiac complications and respond appropriately.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Provide post-surgical and post-procedural care to recovering cardiac patients.
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to implement comprehensive care plans.
