IT Security SpecialistGenesis10 is currently seeking an IT Security Specialist for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX or Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role focuses on analyzing and strengthening high-volume, high-availability, and resilient applications. The specialist will identify potential threats and risks related to B2B applications using protocols like SFTP, FTPS, and AS2. The ideal candidate will have niche skillsets with IBM Sterling Integrator (SI) and Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP) to analyze edge controls, design security improvements, and ensure policy adherence.Responsibilities:Manage and monitor IBM Sterling Integrator (SI) environments to ensure secure transmission and integration of data across B2B networksDesign, implement and maintain IT security measures, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirementsDesign, develop and integrate services in large-scale distributed enterprise infrastructuresBuild tools to automate, provision, deploy, monitor, and manage production systemsModernize the tech stack by upgrading IBM SI 5.x to 6.x and integration with IBM SSPDesign and build IBM SSP on B2B Zone and DMZ Edge networkIntegrate SI and SSP with HSMWork with Networking protocols like SFTP, FTPS, AS2, NDM Netmap etcWork with Encryption/Decryption toolsRequirements:10+ years proven hands-on experience in IBM Sterling Integrator 6.x or above, Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP), SSP-Configuration Manager, SSP-External Authenticator and Sterling Integrator Implementations, Installations, and patchesPrior experience with IBM SI 5.x upgradeExtensive knowledge of BPML - Business Process Development, Knowledge of XPath, XML and XSLTExperience with Linux, Unix, Shell Scripting, Networking/LTM/GTM, design and architecture of authentication servicesKnowledge and understanding of setting up of SFTP, AS2 and Connect Direct transmissionsDesired skills:Proficient in articulating facts and data-driven plans and ability to partner with stakeholders to implement intended solutions to drive risk reductions and adherence to relevant requirements and standardsStrong attention to detail and advanced analytical skillsExcellent organizational skills and be able to effectively prioritize multiple tasksHands on experience and involvement in large and complex projectsDemonstrates ability to identify root causes to solve complex problemsWorking knowledge of Agile development methodologiesPay range: $70.99 - $78.99 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
