Automation Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Automation consultant to support one of our largest pharmaceutical clients in NJ. This individual will connect lab or manufacturing equipment to computer systems so data can move securely and reliably as they upgrade a current piece of equipment. This work involves OT infrastructure, data flow design, and collaboration with IT and architecture teams.

They will set up computers, servers, and network devices near equipment, make sure equipment sends data to central systems, work with IT and engineering teams to design how everything connects, create clear instructions for how systems are installed and maintained, and ensure systems are maintained and monitored properly utilizing DeltaV, Wonderware, OSIPI, Kepwear, and AVEVA PI system.
