Job Summary:
Pediatric Medical Floor RN (Registered Nurse) position at a healthcare organization within a pediatric specialty unit. This assignment involves providing specialized nursing care to patients with complex medical needs in a pediatric environment. The role requires flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a dynamic pediatric medical unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 2 years pediatric RN experience in a large pediatric facility, experience with trach/vent patients, EVD and lumbar drains, chest tubes, JP drains, central lines, TPN/Lipids, CPM/Ortho/Halo traction, colostomy, ileostomy, nephrostomy care, TBI, neuro assessments, seizure management, solid organ transplant patients (liver/kidney), trauma, and rehabilitation patients
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), previous travel experience
• Additional Information: The assignment spans from 01/05/2027 to 04/10/2027. The candidate must work 10 weekends per 8-week scheduling block (Friday through Sunday) and holidays as needed. Floats are not required for this assignment. The use of equipment such as Medfusion and Baxter Sigma intravenous pumps, Kangaroo feeding pumps, CADD PCA pumps, and ventilators is routine. The unit supports respiratory and anesthesia services as needed.
