Shipping ClerkLocation: Hendersonville, NCPay Rate: $22.00/hourShift: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk to join a busy warehouse and manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for preparing outbound shipments, receiving incoming materials, maintaining accurate shipping documentation, and supporting overall warehouse inventory flow.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable working with deadlines, and has prior shipping experience.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare daily shipments including bills of lading, packing lists, labels, and freight documentationReceive and accurately enter incoming materials and finished goods into the Syspro systemVerify shipments against purchase orders, sales orders, packing slips, and other documentationCoordinate carrier pickups including small parcel, LTL, truckload, domestic, and export shipmentsOperate forklifts and warehouse equipment to safely load, unload, stage, and move materialsAssist with cycle counts, inventory updates, and resolving inventory discrepanciesMaintain accurate shipping and receiving records and documentationCommunicate with Customer Service, Quality, Manufacturing, and carriers regarding shipments and schedulingKeep shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas clean, organized, and safeProvide warehouse support during busy periods, employee absences, or increased workloadQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious shipping experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environmentPrevious forklift experience preferred but not requiredExperience with shipping documents, packing lists, bills of lading, labels, and freight paperworkComputer experience with ERP, inventory, shipping/receiving software, and Microsoft ExcelExperience using barcode scannersStrong attention to detail and accurate data entry skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently under deadlinesStrong communication skills and ability to work well with both warehouse and office teamsAbility to read, write, and speak fluent EnglishBasic math skills for accurately calculating weights, quantities, pallets, boxes, and shipment detailsPhysical RequirementsAbility to safely operate a forklift throughout the shiftAbility to bend, stoop, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work in a constantly moving warehouse environmentComfortable working in hot, cold, and noisy conditionsRequired PPE: Safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and high-visibility vest when on the warehouse or manufacturing floor.Why Apply?If you have shipping, receiving, forklift, and warehouse experience and are looking for a steady first-shift opportunity paying $22/hour, we'd love to hear from you!Apply today!
