For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work.As an Electrical Engineering Manager in our Space & Defense Group you will be responsible for design and development of hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, servo-mechanism, and electro-pneumatic components and systems that will be used to test the products of Moog, Inc.Moog is looking for an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of approximately 4 engineers who specialize in requirements management, system performance modeling, and item analysis tasks across multiple concurrent development programs. In this role, you will provide engineering leadership, project leadership, and participate in the development of electrical engineering process for your team.You will provide and assign the appropriate engineering resources on projects, manage the performance of your direct reports, maintain and improve engineering processes, and ensure project milestones are met. You will also spend half of your time contributing directly to the projects in which your team participates. Reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager, you will work on-site in East Aurora, NY.As an Electrical Engineering Manager, you will:Manage execution of work by teams and team members through monitoring progress, providing technical direction, and problem-solving solutions.Mentor direct reports in all aspects of Electrical Engineering career development. Model Electrical Engineering industry best practices, as well as Moog core values, to promote development of world-class Electrical Engineering talent.Supervise team members providing goals, feedback and recognition and developing bench strength through career planning and progression. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
