Job Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work closely with radiologists and referring healthcare providers to supply high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Accurately document examinations and preserve patient records electronically
• Stay abreast of the latest ultrasound imaging advancements and best practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certifying body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is an asset
