Architectural Draftsperson

Position Overview We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to join our team. Key Responsibilities Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce detailed, full-scale architectural drawings and layouts. Translate architects’ and engineers’ rough sketches into technical plans for foundations, structures, and interior spaces. Review and apply applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and compliance standards to all designs. Coordinate and organize structural, mechanical, and electrical design elements. Conduct jobsite visits to collect necessary measurements and data. Determine required materials and calculate quantities for procurement. Collaborate with architects to generate cost estimates, contracts, and project documentation. Maintain organized records of design revisions, submittals, and project communications. Perform other duties and support project needs as assigned. Qualifications Education: Associate’s degree in Drafting or a related field required. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting or a comparable role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and related architectural design tools. Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and applicable codes. Core Competencies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
