Job Responsibilities
Ability to work and stay within estimated engineering hours attributed to assigned projects.
Create complete engineered design packages as directed by the Project Engineer. Engineered design packages include but are not limited to, door and camera detail drawings, schedules and risers, and wired access panel details.
Maintain the engineering file server, including the drawing database, loading schedule database, and the tech tip database. Maintenance consists of insuring that the files are stored in logical order, current revisions are stored, and regular and frequent backups are made.
Create and maintain the CAD detail binder as directed by the engineering manager. This duty includes insuring that the binder is complete, updated, and regular and frequent updates are distributed to detail binder holders.
Aid in maintaining all drafting hardware, including computers, plotters, and copiers.
