Role Overview

The Volunteer Camp Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of RGE Cares Summer Camp. This individual will assist in organizing camp activities, coordinating volunteers, and providing a positive experience for campers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing daily camp activities, ensuring they align with the camp’s mission and objectives.

• Serve as a point of contact for volunteers, parents, and staff, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.

• Oversee camper engagement, safety, and well-being throughout the program.

• Support logistics such as setting up events, managing supplies, and coordinating schedules.

• Assist with volunteer training, ensuring all team members are prepared to deliver a fun and safe experience.

• Help document camp experiences through photos, testimonials, and reports.

• Address any issues or concerns promptly, working closely with leadership to resolve challenges.

Qualifications & Skills

• Passion for working with youth and creating meaningful experiences.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Prior experience in event planning, youth programs, or camp leadership is a plus.

• Must pass a background check (if required).
