What You'll Do

The Finance Manager will serve as a key financial resource responsible for oversight, reporting, compliance and financial planning.

Responsibilities include:

• Review budgets, financial statements, financial reports and audits
• Analyze financial performance and identify potential fiscal concerns
• Develop and manage corrective action plans when financial issues are identified
• Establish and improve financial reporting processes, templates and internal controls
• Manage state and federal grant budgets, reporting, funding requests and reimbursements
• Monitor grant expenditures and ensure compliance with applicable requirements
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Prepare required state and federal financial reports
• Develop budgeting tools, financial resources and reporting processes
• Work closely with senior leadership and external government agencies
• Translate complex financial information into clear recommendations for non-financial stakeholders

Who We're Looking For

The strongest candidates will have a background in government or nonprofit finance and understand the additional accountability that comes xhyhwjd with managing public, restricted, or grant-funded dollars.

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• 5+ years of progressive financial management experience
• Government, nonprofit or public-sector finance experience strongly preferred
• Experience with state and/or federal grants
• Strong budgeting and financial reporting experience
• Experience with regulatory compliance and audits
• Strong understanding of internal controls
• Ability to manage multiple funding streams and reporting deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills
