Job Full Description

Position Summary:
Operates and monitors extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products according to specifications. Ensures machines run efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines
Feed raw materials into the machine and adjust machine settings as needed
Monitor product quality and perform measurements to ensure specifications are met
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to maintenance
Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance
Package finished products and prepare for shipment
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and quality guidelines

Skills & Requirements:

Experience operating extrusion or similar industrial machines
Ability to read and interpret production specifications and work orders
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and quality
Ability to work standing for long periods and lift up to [insert weight]
Willingness to work shifts as needed
