Description LivINN Hotels is a small business in hospitality in Burnsville, MN. The Hotel Room Housekeeper will clean, restock, and maintain hotel rooms as assigned to maximize the customer and employee experience by giving the best possible service. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary. Part Time: Thurs, Fri, Sun & Mondays Starting Pay $16.50 - $17.00 per hour depending on experience. Shifts start at 10 am. Supplemental benefits available. Requirements Duties/Responsibilities: Completes room clean in 30 minutes or less. Removes soiled linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets from each assigned room and provides fresh replacements. Neatly makes beds and stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels according to policies. Cleans and disinfects bathroom and kitchenette or coffee-preparation areas according to hotel policies. Wipes surfaces in room and cleans mirrors. Vacuums floors and removes trash. Ensures room meets hotel standards with a final walkaround. Ensure soiled linens are laundered, which may include loading hotel washers and dryers and folding sheets and towels in laundry room as needed. Attend meetings and training as required. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Detail-oriented and thorough. Must be approachable with a friendly, enthusiastic attitude. Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests. Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards. Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Education and Experience: Sufficient education and literacy are needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs. Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English preferred. Must pass a background check. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
