Construction Project Manager

Greenwood, South Carolina | Onsite Role | No Travel Required Our client is a growing construction client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and mixed-use construction projects in the Greenwood, South Carolina area. This is a fully onsite position with no travel requirements. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing delivery from initial concept through closeout and occupancy. Operating as the single point of accountability, this role manages scope, schedule, budget, subcontractor performance, consultant coordination, and client relationships translating business objectives into successful built outcomes. Job Responsibilities Manage commercial and mixed-use construction projects from start to finish Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and submittals Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to schedule and quality standards Conduct regular site meetings and provide project updates to leadership and clients Manage project documentation including RFIs, change orders, permits, and reports Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies Identify and resolve project issues in a timely and professional manner Track project costs and assist with forecasting and budget management Support procurement and subcontractor selection processes Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders Qualifications 1-5 years of project management experience in commercial and/or mixed-use construction Experience managing multiple phases of construction projects Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management softwareStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required Stable work history and professional references preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
