Field Technician

Detect natural gas leaks to protect the community and prevent harm Navigate natural gas incidents and implement proper solutions using provided training Use safety equipment and technology to accurately detect gas leaks and analyze data Work independently after training while managing time and solving problems Provide professional and responsive customer service to clients Accurately communicate findings and relevant information Work outdoors, typically walking more than five miles per day Perform field gas utility surveys from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Requirements High School Diploma OR GED Valid, unexpired driver’s license Personal vehicle for daily work use Ability to work outdoors and walk several miles per day Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and carry up to 20 lbs. of equipment Strong problem-solving skills Superb customer service skills Ability to accurately relay findings and convey information Attention to detail and focus while locating leaks Physical stamina and endurance Direct experience working with hands‑on technology is a plus Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in detecting natural gas leaks and implementing safety solutions while providing exceptional customer service.
